Privacy policy
Pursuant to articles 12 and 13 of EU Regulation no. 679/16, Targado S.r.l. with registered office in via A. Costa 5, 41012 Carpi (MO), Email info@targado.com, as Data Controller, informs natural persons (hereinafter "User" or "Users") who access to the website www.targado.com, to acquire technical and commercial information regarding Targado S.r.l. products. on the purposes and methods of data processing, the nature of their provision and the scope of communication and dissemination of personal data collected through registration and/or browsing on said Site.
1. Data type
The data collected can be of different types:
Data provided voluntarily by the User
Targado S.r.l. collects the data provided voluntarily by Users by filling in the appropriate forms on the Site, or through paper forms or through any other form suitable for the purpose
Site navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow Users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the Users who connect to the Site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the User's IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning, to identify anomalies and/or abuses and are deleted immediately after processing.
The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the Site: except for this eventuality, the data itself is currently kept for the times defined by the relevant legal legislation for the time strictly necessary to provide the User the requested service and to guarantee the transmission of the communication.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies to ensure the integrity of the registration procedure and for its customization. A cookie is a small text file saved to the User's hard drive by a web page. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or send viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to the User and can only be read by the web server of the domain that sent them.
One of the main purposes of cookies is to allow the User to save time. For example, if you personalize a web page or visit a site, the cookie will allow the visited site to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. The use of cookies allows us to provide the User with personalized content and facilitates the visit of the site. At the next visit to the website, the information previously provided may be retrieved in order to simplify the use of the personalized functions by the User.
Web technology based on beaconing, also known as "clear gif" or action tag technology, may be used to send cookies on the Targado site. This technology allows Targado S.r.l. to compile aggregate statistics relating to the use of the Website, for example the number of visitors who have interacted with key elements of a web page on the Website, such as links or images. Targado S.r.l. can provide aggregate statistical data to its partners.
Users can accept or reject cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. However, the User can change their browser settings to refuse cookies. If you decide to refuse cookies, it is possible that the interactive functions offered by the website can no longer be used.
2. Purpose of processing
The personal data of Users are collected and processed for the following purposes:
- to respond to requests that Users may make using the email addresses or data entry forms on the Site;
-to carry out direct marketing activities via email, fax or text message, for services and/or products similar to those requested;
-to send informative advertising material, commercial or promotional information, as well as to develop studies, research or market statistics.
3. Methods of processing and use of data
The user's personal data will be processed mainly with electronic or automated tools, in compliance with articles 25 and 32 of EU Regulation no. 679/16 and in any case through the application of specific security measures in order to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access. The data and the media containing the data are stored in electronic and paper archives in compliance with current legislation and for the time strictly necessary to pursue the aforementioned purposes.
4. Nature of processing and optional or mandatory consent
For the purposes referred to in point 2, the provision of data by the User is necessary and failure to provide it, even partially, determines the impossibility of providing the services offered/requested; in relation to these purposes, consent is not required and the processing is lawful pursuant to art. 6 (1)(b) of the GDPR. The processing referred to in point 2, carried out for direct marketing purposes on products or services similar to those purchased by the User, finds its legal basis, pursuant to art. 6.1.f of the Regulation, in the legitimate interest of Targado S.r.l. to promote its products or services in a context in which the data subject can reasonably expect this type of processing, to which he or she can also object at any time. The processing carried out for commercial and promotional purposes described in point 2 letter d) is based on the release of consent by the User pursuant to art. 6(1)(a) of the Regulation. The provision of Personal Data for this purpose is entirely optional and does not affect the use of the services.
5. Scope of communication
The Users' data are collected and processed at the headquarters of Targado S.r.l. Without prejudice to the communications carried out in compliance with legal obligations, all data collected for the purposes indicated in point 2 may be communicated to the following subjects: subjects appointed by Targado S.r.l. to carry out activities directly connected or instrumental to the provision and distribution of the products or services requested by the User; subjects who may become aware of them in their capacity as Data Processors or Data Processors of Targado S.r.l.. The data will not be disclosed in any case.
6. User Rights
The User has the right to ask Targado S.r.l. at any time, access to his/her Personal Data, the rectification or erasure of the same (so-called right to be forgotten) or to object to their processing in the cases provided for by Article 20 of the Regulation; has the right to request the limitation of processing in the cases provided for by Article 18 of the Regulation, as well as to obtain in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the data concerning him/her (portability), in the cases provided for by Article 20 of the GDPR. In any case, the User always has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data), pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR, if he/she believes that the processing of his/her data is contrary to the legislation in force. Furthermore, pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 3 of the GDPR, the User has the right to withdraw consent at any time; the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal. 7. Changes to this privacy policy
This Privacy Policy is effective from 11 May 2023; Targado S.r.l. may modify or update its content in whole or in part also following changes to the applicable legislation. In the event of substantial changes to the content of the information, Targado S.r.l. will inform Users by publishing notices on the home page of the Site or, alternatively, by sending notices directly to Users. Targado S.r.l. recommends periodically rereading this privacy policy so as to always be aware of the initiatives taken to protect the confidentiality of the personal information collected.
